cranberry + cream.

blouse: Old Navy // necklace: thrifted // earrings: Forever 21 (similar) // skirt: Zara via Crossroads Trading Co (similar, love this wallet friendly option!) // heels: Joan + David (similar) // watch: Michael Kors // coat (below): H+M (similar, wallet friendly option)

It's finally happened ladies. It's finally cold enough to wear a coat! To celebrate, I pulled out my favorite winter coat and decided to dress it up a bit with a cranberry skirt from Zara and black patent heels. I realized I haven't gotten this dressed up for work in quite awhile...and I miss it! I think it may be time to head to Pinterest for some fall outfit inspiration!

What about you...what are you looking forward to wearing this fall?

Every time I think fall is finally here, summer sneaks back in and makes itself comfortable. Last week it was cooling down into the low seventies. Today is over ninety. Ninety in October...in the Bay Area. WTH.

Hoping you're enjoying some fall weather wherever you are!

Fall is definitely in the air. The past few mornings I've woken up and had put another quilt on the bed...there's a chill in the air! In turn, I've taken to wearing a cardigan or blazer to work most days. Luckily I just scored the best deal ever on Poshmark (more on that to come!)...but for now, here's an outfit I put together from some old favorites. I love versatile pieces like these. I've worn each of these pieces separately many times, but put them together for a new outfit today.

What are you favorite versatile pieces to mix and match?

I hope everyone out there had a great Labor Day weekend! Now that summer is kinda/sorta over, it seems as though everyone is transitioning towards a more "fall" inspired look...except for this girl! I don't know what the weather was like in your neck of the woods over the long weekend, but here in the Bay Area IT. WAS. HOT. It actually seems as though each year the summer gets warmer and warmer, but that's for a different time!

Anyways, while the weather's still in the 80's and 90's I'll be rocking my summer wardrobe while I still can!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Monday!

I got this polka dot skirt a couple of weeks back at Crossroads Trading Co. It's a vintage find and didn't contain a label, but luckily it fit me perfectly! This is an outfit I wore over the weekend, though this can easily be transitioned for the office by adding a simple blazer or cardigan!

A few of have asked, and no Crossroads is not sponsoring my posts...I just really love finding great deals and thrifting! :)

Have any of you scored any thrifted and/or consignment pieces lately?

on wednesdays we wear pink.

Today I'm wearing another one of my finds from Crossroads Trading Co...I got this this pink knife-pleated skirt for a whopping $4.25. Yes, you read that right, four dollars and twenty-five cents! It's a vintage skirt (no label), and it was marked half off. It's slightly sheer, so I wore a slip (thanks for the tip Jean!).

When I wear a bold color like this, I try to pair it with something a little more neutral or basic...so I went with one of my many striped shirts. Adding a pink statement necklace and my favorite black heels completed the look!

Stay tuned next week for a couple of more looks I scored at Crossroads!

watercolors.

dress: Kensie via Crossroads Trading Co // necklace: World Market // wedges: J. Crew Factory
watch: Michael Kors // earrings: Kate Spade

I'd been on the lookout for a watercolor print dress after seeing Jessica wear this beautiful dress on Bows + Sequins a few weeks back. Fast forward to last week when I found this Kensie dress for only $16.50 at Crossroads Trading Co! I've mentioned Crossroads before, but if you're not aware they sell "recycled fashion." Basically, you can sell or trade your clothes, shoes, and jewelry and they resell those items...thrifting, but much better! And before you ask...no, this is not a sponsored post; I just really love Crossroads! :)

Back to the dress! I spotted this dress right away in the racks and luckily it happened to be my size! I loved the black trim on the cap sleeves and neckline, which worked perfectly with a skinny black belt and patent wedges for a day in the office!

The Kensie dress looks like it's sold out at Macy's, but check out these similar options here, here, here, here, and here! Stay tuned next week for more of my finds from Crossroads!

Have any of you ladies our there had any luck at Crossroads (or thrifting) lately?
