Now that summer is [almost] here, we're enjoying sunshine and warmer weather...until we step into our offices. I don't know about you ladies, but the air in my office is always FREEZING. So despite the warmer temps outside, I still find myself wearing long sleeves or throwing on a cardigan when I head to work.

Flowy blouses like this silky teal one above are perfect for the office because they still over some coverage in my cube, while remaining cool outside for lunches on the patio. Added bonus, I can basically wear them all year long! What are all of you wearing into the office right now?

Sometimes the only accessory you need for a dress is bright lip and your favorite cardigan. That's the great thing about this dress, it goes perfectly with almost any color! A clearance find from Target last summer, this dress is a grey cotton pinstripe. Here I've paired it with a simple black J. Crew cardigan and cobalt Banana Republic ballet flats. I've also worn it with coral, yellow, and teal...it's so versatile!

Confession: I'm normally not a floral kind of girl. Yes, I know they're super trendy right now and covering everything from dresses and skirts to leggings and blouses, florals have never really done it for me...until now! I spotted this bold floral skirt at Target last week and was immediately drawn to the bold colors. Containing cobalt, coral, yellow, aqua, pink, and black this skirt contains so many of my favorite colors! This will definetely be a staple in my closet this summer, not only for work but for weekends with a tank and sandals as well!

The 'Allie' dress from J. Crew has long been my favorite dress (previously seen here and here), so imagine how excited I was when I discovered J. Crew Factory had a turquoise version this season! Though it's not actually named, 'Allie,' it's cut exactly the same, including pockets!

Layering a button up shirt under a shift dress is a favorite of mine for the office. Add a fun belt and leopard heels and you're good to go!

Fruit prints are everywhere this season, from J. Crew, to ModCloth, to Target, and everything in between! Lemons are personally my favorite...something about the fresh lemon patterns...and they remind me of Betty Draper's wardrobe!

Here I've found three beautiful lemon-printed dresses at varying price points. Personally, the Banana Republic version is my favorite, and it comes in petite!

Another day, another striped dress. I'm actually surprised this is the first time I've taken photos in this dress...it's one of my favorites and I wore it sooo many times last summer! Made from a heavier weight ponte fabric, it's extremely comfortable, as well as being incredibly versatile. I can wear it as you see above to work (usually paired with a Jackie cardigan to combat the AC), or with sandals and a straw hat on the weekends. All in all, one of my favorite finds from Marshall's!

Do you ever wake up in the morning and have no idea what to wear? Those type of mornings call for your favorite pieces! I know maxi dresses have been popular for quite awhile now, but I'm a little late to the game. Being on the shorter side (I"m 5'2"), I always thought a maxi dress wouldn't quite look right on me, or make me look even shorter. It's only after seeing several other petite bloggers rocking the maxi dress that made me give them a second thought (thanks Jen!).

I spent some time browsing the interwebs and found so many fun, colorful options...from the sleek red J. Crew number above (perfect for a black tie wedding or cotillion maybe), to the embroidered green beauty from Anthropologie (perfect for a baby shower or a beach side wedding), the options are endless. No matter what your body type (or your budget!), there's a maxi dress out there waiting for you ladies!
